Bihar Election: EC announced voting and result dates at 4 pm today
243-The term of the member of the state assembly ends on 22 November.
Political parties have urged the election bodies to hold elections immediately after the Chutha festival, which will be celebrated in late October, ensuring maximum voter participation that a large number of people appoint people returning home for the festival.
The 2020 assembly elections in the state were held in three phases below the shadow of the Kovid -19 epidemic. BJP -led NDA won 123 seats and Mahagatdanan won 114 seats in a close competition.
This time also, the state will see a bitter battle between two major alliances.
On 5 October, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanash Kumar claimed that special intensive amendment in Bihar “purified” the list of voters after 22 years, and said that several new initiatives were being taken for the upcoming assembly elections, which would be repeated in time payable across the country.
Kumar said, “With the successful conclusion of Sir, the list of voters in Bihar has been purified. It is after a gap of 22 years that this kind of cleaning has taken place. Now this practice will be done across the country.”
