CPI (ML) Liberation rejected the proposal to fight 19 seats, said no 'respectable proposal'
A party source said that the CPI (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation has rejected the proposal to fight 19 seats in the upcoming assembly elections as part of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

The person said, this was not a “dignified proposal”.

According to the source, the Left party was offered as many seats as it contested in the 2020 assembly elections in the seats.

The source said, “At least three of our seats were also changed.”

In 2020, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation contested 19 seats, and won 12. This time, the Left party sought about 40 seats to fight.

The source said, “The CPI (ML) rejected the proposal as it was not a respectable proposal and we are going to make a new proposal to fight about 30 seats.”

The person said, “We are reducing the number of seats by about 25 percent.”

The CPI (ML) has also argued that the party not only helped the grand alliance in the seats on which they contested, but also helped to get votes in the surrounding areas.

Asked about the party’s position in the event of his new offer not being accepted, the source said, “All options are open.” The Grand Alliance is a group of Congress, Left parties – CPI, CPI (ML), and CPI (ML) – and Mukesh Sahni’s developing human party (VIP). The alliance is headed by the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

In 2020, among the colleagues, RJD contested 144 seats and won 75, while the Congress contested 70 seats and won 19.
