Jaipur-Azmer Highway Blast: Tanker driver was burnt alive after several cylinder explosions due to conflict
According to police officials cited by news agency PTI, the tanker – who was carrying the chemicals – caught fire, and the driver was revived in the incident.
Dudu city Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Khandelwal said, “The tanker driver was survived in the incident. Another man has been injured.”
Traffic on the busy highway stayed for several hours due to the accident.
The flames due to the explosions were visible from several kilometers away, which were with a loud sound of explosions hearing by the passengers.

The scrap meters of the cylinder were found to be found, in which the authorities reached the place to control the fire.
Jaipur Collector Dr. Jitendra Soni said that a team of Hindustan Petroleum removed all cylinders following the security system and protocol.
“Scrap of 42 cylinders was found. They were all explosive cylinders. All these were 120 cylinders safe. All were removed by Hindustan Petroleum team, which followed all security measures and protocols, which were to clean the area,” PTI stated that PTI said.

The truck carrying the CNG cylinder was reportedly parked outside a hotel as the driver had gone to dine. The tanker hit the truck, causing a fire in the cabin of the tanker, while the cylinder was thrown out of the truck and soon exploded.
According to eyewitness witnesses cited by PTI, a regional transport office team was stopping and checking vehicles on the highway. The tanker driver suddenly changed his lane to escape from the authorities and lost control.
However, the District Collector said that investigation in the case has started and the reason for the conflict is under investigation.
Rajasthan vice -president Prem Chand arrived at the place to take care of the accident.
