Tamil Nadu Magistrate targeted 'sandal attack' after Supreme Court Shu incident
Within days, in another stunning court, a person accused of theft threw his sandals in a judicial magistrate in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.

The incident took place on Tuesday, October 7, News18 reported. This reflects a recent disruption in the Supreme Court, where a lawyer tried to throw a shoe at Chief Justice Bra Gawai on Monday, 6 October.

The accused, identified as Dharmendra Singh, is an accused from Uttar Pradesh and working as a daily wage laborer in Cheranmahdevi area.

According to News 18, he was arrested for stealing a temple donation box a few months ago. His case was being heard before Judicial Magistrate Arun Kumaran in the Chernmahadevi court.

During the hearing, Singh appeared without a lawyer. In view of this, Magistrate Kumaran directed the court officials to provide them a legal aid lawyer and directed that the case be intensified. The hearing was later postponed in the next month.

However, Singh postponed. In an unexpected act, he removed his sandals and according to eyewitnesses, hoisted the magistrate in quick succession. Security personnel intervened fast and excluded him from court.

Judge refused to file a complaint

This incident caused an uproar inside the court premises. While the Cheranmahadevi police has launched a detailed investigation, Magistrate Kumaran refused to register a separate case as per News18.

The magistrate described the work of Singh as stems with ignorance instead of maliciousness. The accused was later taken back to jail under tight security.

Officials are also investigating whether they may have psychological issues or communication barriers, causing them misunderstandings.

Supreme Court ‘Shu’ incident

On 6 October, 71 -year -old advocate Rakesh Kishore allegedly tried to throw a shoe at CJI Br Gavai during the court proceedings in the Supreme Court.

He shouted, “Sanatan’s upman Nahi Sahg (will not tolerate insult to Sanatan Dharma),” during the exit by security personnel.
