The 'insensitive' sticker of Indigo's 'extremely heavy' sticker with the image of the elephant on the coffin spread outrage
A photo posted online has started outrage and public discussion about the dignity and sensitivity of Indigo’s logistics, especially human remains. Soon after shared, a picture of a coffin went viral on X, in which the coffin was marked with a label sent by the air, which was described by many as harassing.

The alleged consignment booked for the Delhi-Patna flight was marked as a ‘human remains’, and a sticker pasted on it was written “extremely heavy” with an elephant’s caricature. The travel document and the passport of the deceased person were visible over the coffin.

The thing that inspired people to express his anger was the cartoon image of the elephant which was marked as a human remains. This caused restlessness in many X users who called IndiGo, who was transporting the coffin to re -consider its labeling standards for the allegedly sensitive shipment.

The image sharing user said, “It may look silly but for indigo, human residue cargo shipment, you may want to change the ‘Extreme Heavy’ sticker with an elephant over it. Only for the honor of the person who has gone.”

IndiGo has not released any response to the viral post. However, the incident gave rise to comprehensive reflections on the role of vowel, symbolism and respect in commercial aviation, especially while transporting dead persons. For many people, this post acts as a reminder that the smallest detail like stickers can also give emotional importance. The debate continued, which attracted attention to one aspect of air travel which often did not pay attention.
