TVS Raider 125 launched with boost mode, dual disc brake and new tech
The raider is powered by a sophisticated 125cc, 3-valve engine that produces 11.75Nm torque at 6,000rpm. With boost mode, the riders get a quick power increase for sharp acceleration, while the GTT throttle enables smooth movement at low speeds, improving fuel efficiency and city’s purposes.
For braking safety, TVS has equipped the raider with a segment-first dual disc brake and single-channel ABS. The motorcycle also comes with wide tires-90/90–17 in front and 110/80–17-designed to offer better grip and handling in different road conditions at the back.
Another major is also the Follow Me Haylamp function, which keeps switching the headlamps for a short period after closing the engine and ignition. This feature allows the riders to safely navigate the areas with slow light lights or parking areas.
Riders can choose between two display options: a TFT cluster with more than 99 features or a reverse LCD with more than 85 features. Both TVS are powered by Smartaxnect, offering Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, call handling and notification management.
Styling updates include a metal silver finish with sporty red alloy wheels.
The new TVS raider is priced at 93,800 for TFT Dual Disk variants and 95,600 for SXC Dual Disc variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is now available at all TVS motor dealerships.
