Uttarakhand experienced an important weather innings on Monday, October 6, with snowfall and rain in many areas, which led to a drop in temperature across the state. The innings of this season started with a thorough western disturbance affecting northern India.

The holy temple of Kedarnath saw a fresh magic of snowfall on Monday, blaming the temple complex and surrounding areas in an ancient white layer. The sudden change in the weather created a picturesque vision because thousands of devotees continued to pray despite the situation of cold and slippery.

The scene released by the news agency ANI dusted the centuries -old stone temple with snow, while pilgrims, wrapped in raincoats and women, gathered to see a large number of divine spectacles.

Many users shared beautiful videos on X, in which the Kedarnath temple was wrapped in white. One user wrote, “Kedarnath Dham, settled in the Himalayas, attains its first snowfall of the season, blank the holy temple in white peace.”

Located at an altitude of about 11,755 feet, Kedarnath often experiences early snowfall as the temperature begins to fall rapidly in October. The weather of this region has been unexpected for the last few days with rain and ice in different parts of the state.

In its latest bulletin, India meteorological department (IMD) predicted heavy rainfall and isolated hailstorm in Uttarakhand on 6 and 7 October.

Mate office On Monday and Tuesday, a orange warning was issued for the state, predicting heavy rains. Apart from heavy rains, on October 6, a separate hailstorm activity is predicted in Uttarakhand.

Officials said on Sunday that T.Re -activities will be banned in Chamoli district for the next two days due to rain. And snowfall estimates in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand.

The Chamoli District Disaster Management Office has directed the tourism and forest departments to stop the trekking operations on 6 and 7 October.
