Who is Priti Kinnar — the transgender candidate in Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party first list
JSP announces first list of 51 candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.
Preeti Kinnar will contest elections from Bhore assembly constituency of Gopalganj district. This seat is also reserved for the Scheduled Caste (SC) community group.
The party candidate is reportedly involved in grassroots outreach work, meeting people across the state and interacting with them to understand the issues faced by them.
Currently, the assembly seat is held by Janata Dal (United) (JDU) member Sunil Kumar, who is also the education minister in Nitish Kumar’s government.

social workers with strong reach
Preeti, resident of Kalyanpur village, is a social worker who is most of the time seen active among the people at the grassroots level.
According to Amar Ujala, the candidate is seen helping the poor, participating in cultural events like Durga Puja, Chhath Puja as well as cricket, football and other sporting events and competitions.
JSP chief Kishor has trusted Preeti to give a tough fight to her opponents due to her strong grassroots participation in Bihar.
According to News18 Hindi, Preeti has helped about 27 poor girls in marriage and she has studied till 8th class. Their main source of income is reportedly animal husbandry and’Badhaai song,

Bihar elections 2025
Bihar elections are going to be held in two phases, with voting scheduled on 6th and 11th November. The counting of votes will take place on November 14 and the results will be declared after that.
